Ok so I just installed this today so bear with me.

When I have a file that say needs custom erasing I can't do it. When I try to click on the image or on the erase tool nothing happens.

I also have this problem with a few actions I added because they are ones that have a "stop" to make adjustments. What am I doing wrong?

For the custom erasing ones, you can't do it until Showit Effects is done. So don't hit "save" but, rather, "next" and then when you're done, then go back and do your erasing.

Re-save your actions so they don't have a "stop" in them. Just do a generic "tuning" for the image. SIE is designed for speed, not for fine-tuning actions.

Ok that makes sense. Now I am not getting that fast of a speed. I watched the tutorial and I was much slower. I have a G5 Imac and the memory is 2g. Can I make it faster. Even with the new effects I haven't noticed any time saving.

I did those tutorials on my Macbook Pro with 2 gigs of RAM so I'm not sure how that compares with your iMac but should be pretty close. File size and computer speed will determine how fast the effects run.

No matter how fast your computer is the way Showit Effects automates the workflow of applying the effects and opening and saving files as well as automatically reapplying the effects to RAW files creates a huge time savings!

Rock on!

I'm sure it does. I just am finding myself frustrated by the slowness. If anyone has any tips to up the speed let me know.
