Full Version: Pen for Signing?
OpenSourcePhoto > Digital Photography > Misc. Photo Question

Situation: In order to sign photographs directly on the print, I have my local lab spray the lower right portion of the print. I sign the portriat and then it gets a full semi-matte spray. The only thing is that Kodak doesn't recommend you spray your prints. Especially B/W. The white actually will turn yellow after a period of time So without spraying the print what pen can I use to sign directly on the print. This particular photograph is 16x20 and will not recieve a matte. I could do a 2" Matte and frame it in a 20x24 frame but wonder if that will look ok? Then I could sign the matte. I just don't want the matte to look so small. HELP!

A silver gel pen should work on it.

We use the gold metallic Painters pens available at Wal-Mart. No need for spray.

eeeeek! Really? Event the textures and sprays that labs like WHCC use? Egad... good to know, I'm going to need to look into that since WHCC uses Kodak Endura paper.
