A quick question:

I recently changed to a BluDomain website from a site hosted locally (in Orlando). I carried over the name of my site (brianfoxphotography.com) and I've put all relevant key words (I think) into the appropriate places on my BluDomain administrator. But, when I do a Google search, for example, and I type in "Orlando Wedding Photographer Brian Fox" the description that comes up is old when the relevant site(s) is/are listed! The description is the old description from my old brianfoxphotography.com website.

I guess Google still recognizes the words "Orlando", "Photographer", and "Brian Fox" from my previous site but I can tell that people are querying and finding me through fashion photography sites (which is what I used to do) and those people are obviously seeking a headshot or a comp/zed card photographer. Not what I want now that I'm focusing on weddings and portraits. Hmmm . . .

Will my new keywords and description eventually take over for the old description as the new brianfoxphotography.com site matures? Or, is there something more that I need to do with my old server to have that old information deleted?

I hope the question makes sense.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Brian

somewhere on google there's a page where you can resubmit a url to update google's cache - not sure where.

it took about 10 days for google to pick up our new website description, so it will be updated in time, it just isn't immediate.

That's what I was hoping for . . . I'll jump onto Google and see if I can find anything.

Thanks!!!
