i was checking out denis' site and i learned that he has no cavities - me neither!

now for you young pups that might not be a big deal, but i'm proud of my cavity-free 41 year old teeth.

AND i have the same car as jessica clarie (unless she sold hers by now)



anyway - tell me about some other photographers and what we all have in common!

I have quite a bit of amalgam and composite but NO cavities ;-)

I didn't go to the dentist for over 7 years (I know, I know....no lectures please) due to a horrible fear of dentists. But I finally went over the summer in order to get my lumineers done and *drumroll please* NO CAVATIES! I told them it was because I was so terrified to go that I brushed my teeth all the time. Now I have no problem going and have had 2 check-up/cleanings since.

I don't know what other photog. has only one cavity, but I do. And, let's not get started on this whole dentist thing.....I'd personally rather go see my Ob for the lovely annual check up. This past Oct. I had to have all 4 of my wisdom teeth out....aaaccckkk!!! I hope another fab. photog. has had that happen so that can be my secret to my great career .

ETA...I do have my regular once or twice a year dental check ups even though I don't like 'em.

i think i have like a half a cavity? I dont like dentists either. I still go to a pedodontist! (sp?)

That must be my problem.... I have like 8 crowns & 2 root canals...

denis and jessica also both have 2 'first names'.

for the record i LOVE to go to the dentist - i go at least 3 times a year. my dentist has a little dog that is just like mine, and he sits on my lap while i have my checkup. i have even brought my dog with me so the dogs could play together.

No cavaties here either - and people always think that I have two "first names", but I actually don't.

Beth - don't feel bad - I hadn't gone to the dentist for TWELVE years (beyond horrible, I know!) and went to get my teeth checked out and cleaned and the ENTIRE office (patients too) came in to see my dental X-Rays when the dentist announced that I hadn't been in that long and had ZERO cavaties and no problems with my teeth at all! My poor hubby goes every year and takes good care of his teeth and he always has at least 3.

Weren't you just glowing and smiling when you found out?!?! I know I was!

I brush 2/3x a day, floss religiously, go to the dentist every 6 months and always walk outta there with the announcement of a cavity or two.

You just can't win!

Oh Yeah! I was even happier when I told my husband! I really couldn't believe it myself - I would have sworn I had a few cavaties - it turns out I just have sensitive teeth!

I own cameras and lenses so I must be just like DJ!!
