I've made a slideshow with showit web 2.0, but when I upload it I get a message that says:

--------------
To view this slideshow you need the Flash Player installed and JavaScript enabled.
Click here to download the latest Flash Player.
------------------

I have tried downloading the latest Flash - which I have. I have tried re-ftp-ing my files...I have made the slideshow over....What can I do?

Maybe try downloading the new 2.5 beta version and recreate it through there?? That has helped fixed a lot of my kinks.

is there a security pop up bar at the top? I'm thinking your browser updated and due to security issues you have to allow it to activate activex or whatever.

I get that message as well. I found out that I have Javascript and ActiveX blocked.

The error bar (in yellow) says to right-click it to "allow" content to play.

You have a link to the slideshow itself? Perhaps its your browser?

I don't think it's anything you've done Jules, see a couple of threads down. I have got this exact same problem. I can't use showit web now because of this problem. There is obviously something happening here. The only difference I have made to my system is that I downloaded the version 2.5 beta to both my Pc and Mac. Since then I'm getting exactly the same message when I use version 2.0 If I use 2.5 I don't get the message but there are a couple of annoying bugs in it. If I use a 30 image template it stops playing at 29 and then the music restarts for image 30.

Come on developers, there's obviously some issue here. Can you please sort it. I've downloaded the latest version of flash on every computer I own and it still will no longer play shows made using version 2.0
