I am not hosted at BD either but I did order their slideshow feature. I had the the same message. After many emails and a few telephone calls I was told this was because they needed to connect their database my web host. My host would not go for that for security reasons of course.

They were finally able to make it work but I still have a few quirks. They say my host server is not configured exactly how they need it to be configured for everything to work seamlessly. I'm not really sure what that means.
