I introduced myself a few months ago, and mentioned that I was being "pressed into service" to be the wedding photographer at my brother-in-law's wedding. As poor as they are, it's either me or nobody, so as much as I don't want to do it, I'm going to anyway.
I went out on Saturday to do the bridal shots, and was (to my surprise) able to come up with at least one shot that didn't suck - at least not *too* badly. I saw this spot while we were walking down the street, and thought it showed promise - but we were in complete shade, the sun had gone down behind some buildings.
In a rare burst of creativity, I put a full-strength CTO gel on my flash, set the head to full zoom, and had my "assistant" (my wife) hold a piece of foam core to camera left, bounching the warm light straight onto the bride's face. I'm not used to things working out this well, but I certainly enjoy it when they do!

This can't be the only one that came out good. You have to do a slideshow.
So far so good. Good luck!!!
