Scott Hallgren's wife Andrea is a photographer in Nashville, and several photographers have shared with him how difficult it is to find quality music for our slideshows and our websites that we actually have the rights to use. (No flames about slideshow music - I know where most everyone stands on the issue. smile.gif )

Scott heard our cries and has just released a new site (Scootman Music) that has music available for download.

I have done ShowIt slideshows with a few tracks already and I love them!

Please take a minute and listen, and feel free to give your feedback to Scott if you find a need for a new style of track or if you like it, etc. Thanks!!!

Hmmmm...I do remember his first post on OSP! wink.gif

Have to admit Alison...he's got some tough competition in this area. Stock20.com has such a great value and decent selection for only $7 per song which includes multiple length cuts.

He might also consider longer demo tracks (post 'em up as embedded flash files) just to get a better idea if the song will work for a particular slideshow.

Just my opinion...overpriced at free.

thanks dan. i will pass along your suggestions!

Hi Alison,

Thanks for the nice words! Scott told me he is going to
have full versions to listen to by the end of the day! smile.gif
And the difference between Stock 20 and Scott is
that he creates hi-quality instrumental 'songs': they make
music "beds". Hence the price difference....
