This past weekend I had the opportunity to go to Dallas to do an engegement session for Laura & Johnny, a couple whose wedding I'll be doing later this year in Laredo. This was really cool because the couple's parents flew me to Dallas to do the session. Her mom and her sister booked, so I had never met them. They picked me up at the airport and made me feel right at home. I spent about 8 hours and time flew by cause we had so much fun.

Laura & Johnny go to the school of Theology at SMU. They are seminarians and they will one day play a very important role in their church. Johnny is currently a youth minister. Their faith is everything to them. Its the basis of their relationship past, present and future. These guys can't wait to get married.

Love the color in #1 and the one in front of the bridal salon is my other favorite. I would be interested in seeing the one in front of the bridal salon either without the tilt.

Love the colors! Great job and their story sounds amazing as well. The only thing that gets me is the last image. It looks like she has a hair coming out of her nose. Nothing a little patch tool cant fix.

Fixed that nose hair. I think it was her hair sticking out from the bottom. If she had nose hair that big I would have noticed it during the shoot.

I'm really digging the colors in these. The skin tones all seem dead on and properly exposed, which i prefer to the super saturated, blown out, uber contrasty look that some people are going for now a days. I love it, clean, simple, awesome.
