yesterday i got to shoot a friend of mine's bridal pictures. we went to a garden in monroe, la. the garden was beautiful but i had to hang around the building for the most part due to mid-day shooting and some harsh sunlight. im usually not a sucker for the traditional bridal shot with the dress flowing down a stair case... but something about this one i am digging!

the garden at some point was originally a coke bottling plant... hence the $.05 coke machine!

Awesome shots. I love #1 and #2.

They are all gorgeous, but I'm amazed by the light control in #2!!
Matt
the first 2 were shot with a 580 off camera triggered by a canon st-e2... it was diffused by a white transparent umbrella...

the second one was in an inside garden with a glass roof. i had been shooting in the same spot just from 180 degrees around... the light was harsh on her face so i went around to put the light behind her... since i had been dealing with harsh light.. i had the exposure under exposed and trying to just light up the bride with the 580... so this is what i came up with! i liked it too... thanks for the compliment.

#1 is gorgeous... soft light, beautiful pose, beautiful bride, great colors for background which make her *pop*... very well done.

Matt, they look great! Really great lighting.

Only nitpick: Maybe it's just me, but #1 looks like it is slightly tilted. It's my favorite of what you've displayed. Again, it could be just me... I'm no where near my production system to double check.
