Marketing, what has worked for you, what hasn't?

i was wondering what you guys were going to talk about lol..

how about - eating fajitas with veggies or without veggies lol...

actually - here's something i'd love to know.... How do you keep it all together? How does one build (progressively, over the course of several years) a thriving "rockstar" photography business while still effecitvely and intelligently managing their finances to take into consideration marketing, equiptment, actual wedding package expenses, life, future savings/retirement etc............................!
