I'm brand new to the world of album design. I'm working on an album of my husband's ordination to being a deacon and just kind of put this page together last night. I would appreciate any thoughts. Its my first time, so please be gentle :-)

it's a good start!
how would it look if the background image was faded to dark instead of light? the bightness of the image is competing with the maroon tone.
how would it look if the top, right image was not tilted? or maybe run the little pics vertically between the faded and the text (only use 3). tilt goes a long way (just me preference, i dont' like tilt, usually.)
is there more?
what are you using to build it?
