So while the gang from "savannah trash the dress" were chatting it up and have a grand ole time, I was working... doing an engagement shoot. First in downtown Savannah and then onto the beach. Here are a few of those images, a total of 25 can be found on the BLOG

By the way... that water was FREEZING!! They laid there for as long as they could stand it... all John had to say was "I hope you didn't want kids" hmmmm

Kandice, very nice variety of images! I love that you've done some at the beach and some in town. I've heard it can be difficult in that area to get people to do anything away from the beach. You must be pretty persuasive! smile.gif

I really want to like that third to the last image. I like the processing, however, the couple is almost too lost in the image. I'm wondering if it's possible to get them more burned in or something that will bring them out just a little bit more. I get what you're going for I'd just like to see them better.

Other than that I think this is a great group of images and here are some more of my thoughts and some of them:

On the second image I love that you included the awning. It gives a happy, light feelling to such an intimate moment.

That third one on the beach is oh-so-sexy. It looks like they were very comfortable and daring with you. That says a lot about you as a photographer!

That one of him swinging her around is just fun and I love the movement that it invokes. Cool processing.

I really love the composition of the lighthouse one. It feels like it's out of movie. The moment is perfect and feels so intimate and paparazzi. It's great. It seems like it's the first frame of a very romantic moment in the movie and it's going to come to the side and move in close, zooming into hear their conversation. Awesome.

You've done some really nice work here and some cool processing.

An awesome pointer Davina, thank you. I'll play around with the 3rd one a bit. I was actually going to cut it in the beginning and just started playing with it, slapped an insane amount of grain in it, added some tint and thought the end result was cool. I'll try your suggestion and see what comes of it, may go from cool to Davinariffic! ...lol
