today has been a difficult day. i have a mountain of work to get to, but i just had to take a moment to post about my wonderful friend, bruce, because i don't think he knows how wonderful he is to me.

we FINALLY got a picture together when my flight was cancelled out of phoenix due to mechanical problems. (what luck!) and even though i looked horrible, was exhausted from lack of sleep and the time change, and freaked about not getting home for 2 days, we had the BEST time.

bruce is wonderful, and an amazing photographer, and i am so lucky to have met him! so... thanks osp.

too funny...

my layover was supposed to be an hour... turned into almost 24 hours - then i went to las vegas... hopped off my flight to pittsburgh (for a free round trip ticket)... went to philly... and then finally home to pittsburgh!
i think i could have driven home faster!

but the best part was that i spent most of that time with bruce.

How did I miss the nuances of this? Bruce you are awesome and I've adored you since you came to OSP. Robin, you so deserve a wonderful person because you are such a wonderful and giving person. I'm so incredibly happy for both of you.

I am flying back east this Friday for the One Light Workshop in PA, so I get to be with Robin again! I am sooo happy. I miss her ... she thrills me!!

I live in Phoenix and she in Pittsburgh. Yes, it makes for an interesting relationship. Although I grew up in Pittsburgh, and even lived for a time in the town where she resides, it was through OSP that we actually met. Which explains the post. She mentioned her town in an old post (July 2006), so I PM"d her out of curiousity. Then in August we got together during one of my visits there to see family. It's all blossomed from that point on.

So there you have it! And I don't think your nosey at all.
