I will be in South Florida April 2-10 and I'm looking for a few brides interested in doing a beach/fashion shoot to give my destination portfolio a kick in the ass. I'm looking for one who has already been married and won't mind playing with dress a little, i.e., playing in the surf, laying down in the sand, etc... The perfect scenario would be to have the model also be an OSP member and be involved in the shoot.

There are lots of models for hire in south Florida.

Oh, I don't doubt that at all. I just like to utilze the beauty of OSP to share resources and experiences with OSP members and come away with some new friends.

Check out http://modelmayhem.com. A bunch of us recently did trash the dress sessions with free models from there and we bought some cheap wedding dresses for under $100 on ebay.

I'll be in FL during part of that time... but I refuse to go to Boca - I absolutely hate that place. If you'd be willing to drive up to the Tampa area and shoot in Clearwater or St. Pete (about 4.5 hr drive) I'd be up for it - and I still have my dress, it still fits and I'd love to trash it!

What dates will you be there? Just out of curiousity, what do you hate about Boca?

I will likely be there the 2nd through the 8th... haven't gotten it written in stone yet. I used to live in that area and I worked in Boca... people in general are very snotty and mean spirited there. Bad vibes all around. I think I met 1 person that was actually a genuinely nice person the whole 2 years I was there. I am convinced that if I am going to hell, I will spend eternity in Boca Raton.

I am still in the proicess of building my portfolio, so I would love to go back and do another trash the dress session. I went to the Savannah "trashing" and had a blast. I would have loved to seen some rolling around in the sand, and really getting dirty. I have some pics on my blog if you would like to see them.

I actually have three models lined up now for the Boca Raton area and the local bridal shop has a bunch of dresses for me. If you guys want to come down from Atlanta or Naples we can certainly coordinate and make it happen. Let me know.
