The color in my images are way off when viewing them on a PC! I'm designing my new website on a Mac, but when I view it on a PC (more than one, so not a monitor calibration issue), the colors are totally washed!

HELP?
Laura S
view proof colors as monitor RGB to see how it will look when it goes to web... smile.gif

make sure it is sRGB, Some browsers interpret Adobe RGB and correct, some don't. that may be your problem, but hard to tell w/o seeing the site/image

Agreed.
Can you post some screenshots for us to have a look at?

Thank you both!! I think the RGB Monitor was the issue. I also need to clean hubby's laptop screen. YUCK! Didn't notice it until I loaded my new WHITE website. HA

Sneak peak - only look at the main page!! Trying to nail this front page layout and the rest will start to fall into place. wink.gif And trying to get all this Mac vs PC stuff to look right.

Still looking a little blue (skin tones) on the PC, but I'm wondering if it's this one in particular. I'll have to pull out the others and see how they look.

On my calibrated iMac, colours look awesome! Skin tones are where they should be and your sats are beautiful.

Looking at it on a 14" CRT monitor hooked up to a PC, there was a definite colour shift. The problem is it wasn't blue, it was yellow!!! I really believe that it depends on the output device and in this case, on an uncalibrated monitor, you get undesireable results.

I think this is a problem with the web that you will not be able to solve overnight. Areas like "soft proofing" are starting to make some headway in allowing for consistent colour across multiple devices, including remote ones. But it is still a long way away from being a web-viewing reality!

But I like what you have designed so far! It's crisp and clean and looks like it is going to be easy to navigate! Those are things that you can control!

Nice work!

Im on a PC and I dont see blue or yellow skin tones. They look pretty good to me. What an awesome image with the sand castle - I love it!!!

Thats a crazy sand castle!! Nice home page, I like the clean design.

Thank you all! I really do appreciate it!

The sandcastle was a surprise. The groom's cousin snuck out of the house in the early a.m. and spent hours trying to build it in the wind and rain (which made it even more trying!). So obviously the bride & groom LOVED it!
