Client tried to access a slideshow today. From work. She works in a bank.

When she treid to play the slideshow she was told she had to download flash and java enable.

I know this is a silly question but is there anything I can do to help at my end as this is the first tiome this problem has arisen.

Thanks

Unfortunately I dont think there is much one can do. Showit slideshows do not work on my work computer, and if that client's PC is managed like my work PC's are, she may be prevented from downloading and installing stuff.

Given that the client is at work, there is nothing you can do. Her work computer is most likely locked down from being able to update/upgrade/enable those things, and as such, will be unable to play the slideshow.

Lots of employers are locking down these days. It stinks. Especially when a lot of my clients work for the state, and they lock it down sad.gif

I was just about to post a similar entry when I saw this one. Yesterday I created a slideshow using the new version. I uploaded it to my website and when I tried to view it got the same message, I checked my site and could view all my previous slideshows created with the older version of Showit. I downloaded the latest update of flash, java is enabled and I still cannot view it. My client cannot either, i've tried it on several different computers, both Mac & PC and it won't work. I ended up having to type in the address followed by .swf to finally get it to work. Is there a bug in the later version. This can't be coincidence. It's never happened before. DJ?
