Hey Guys!

I just realized that after being on this message board for a couple of months now that I've never introduced myself!!

I figured that so many new people are joining so better now than never!

My name is Sarah Barlow and I live in Chicago. I am 17 and a senior in highschool. I have been into photography for about 4 years and last year started my own business doing it! It is soo much fun! Especially now with digital!!
I intern at a famous fourth generation local photography studio. It is a great learning experience as well as being on here!

I love to shoot weddings, and children!! which I always have a chance to do with my five other brothers and sisters!!



Also you all should check out my cousins band Barlowgirl they are awesome!

I love Barlowgirl. Their music is rad.

And you look to be off to a very strong start with your wedding photography. I wish I had started shooting weddings when I was as young as you are. That's so awesome, and good for you for getting in with a quality studio to learn from.

Sarah...once again...i'm going to say it to you, "you're wicked awesome!" You just keep on keepin' on. I'm sooo proud of you. You will go sooooooo far!

Thats so cool about your doing what youlove at your age..... I did the same thing..... I had my first art exhibit at age 16...studied all through out high school and took college courses at the local art center of design on saturdays and at night while in high school...... My only wish it that I didn't wait so long to find my passion and make a career out of my hobby!

Man this is a great bunch of people!

DJ- Yeah I went last week to nashville to see them at the awards it was AWESOME!!!! Unfortunately they didn't win anything(which was stupid becasue they were nominated for four and a really small band won against them and other big bands{POLITICS!!!}) but it was still great to see them and they also performed TWICE!!! They were playing their song "Never Alone" and the sound guys messed up the song(which happens a lot ) But the director, after the song was over (and they got a standing O), goes since the song was messed up they'll have to do it again so they got to do it again! ( again with a standing ovation!! I was so proud for them!!

Here is another one!

It's a small world. I actually know the members of this band (I'm sure they don't remember me though) from when they were in Jr. High and early high school. I used to do sound (although I never messed up!) for them when they sang at our church. Now that they're big and famous I'll have to go to one of their shows. I haven't seen them for probably 8 years or so....CRAZY!

BarlowGirl is awesome!

...bummer about the politics...I would've voted for them!

On the bright side though they're still the best-selling new artist of 2004. and their breakout hit single, "Never Alone," has been named 2004 Song Of The Year by Radio & Records CHR chart (stayed at #1 for nine weeks!)

I can't wait to hear what they come out with next!!!

Hi Sarah...it's great to have your spirit here on OSP. I've not heard BarlowGirl (at least, not that I know....I'm terrible putting songs to band names), but I'll definitely look for 'em now!

That concert was ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE and I remember these two big security guys wouldn't let me behind the stage at first but then Mr. Barlow came and hooked me up!
