Yep, I've sent in quite a few bodies, lenses and flashes. Just go to their website and fill out a work order. This sheet will also give you a shipping address and directions on how to pack it up - if it's under warranty be sure to provide a copy of the warranty info and receipt. Then send it off and be sure to send it with insurance and through a carrier that provides a tracking number. Canon will then look at it and if it's under warranty. they will fix it for free. If it's out of warranty they will look at it, run a few tests and send you a cost estimate for approval before they do anything. If you approve it you just call them with a credit card number. If not they will ship it back to you.
I had the 20ds shutter replaced under warranty, I dropped a 28-70 lens - I think that was about $220 ish to fix, and I've had various flash bulbs replaced I think for $80 ish. All of their repairs have been excellent and always come out to be way less in price than I think they will cost. The major repairs took about a month to get back and the minor repairs on the flashers I had back in 2 weeks. I've always have been impressed with their repairs and service.
Oh, and here is the link for the online repair order request.
