Dan! It's your LUCKY day. Welcome to a whole new world. A world of a flash diffuser system that:
1. ISN'T heavy
2. ISN'T clumsy
3. ISN'T expensive
4. ISN'T going to fall off a bunch (I read horror stories all the time)
The Joe Demb Flip It Diffuser System. Made by a regular "Joe" photographer for regular "Joes".
1. It folds flat
2. Weighs next to nothing
3. Is customizable and easy to change
4. You can control the light, instead of the light controlling you
5. Just works! =o)
Check it out. I own one, and I'm about to get another just incase anything should ever happen to my first one.

"Whole new world?" Be carefull my friend...you risk sounding like
Ron Popiel! It slices, it dices, it..."hey, good looking, we'll be back to pick you up later!"
Seriously though, I think I'll stick with the Lightsphere (until I get a full Q-flash set-up). The 580EX already has a built-in bounce card for when I'm not using the LS or Stoffen omni-bounce.
Ever since Gary switched to the soft-sided material (BTW--he discontinued the original hard plastic model over a year ago)...the issue of the LS falling off is no longer an issue (actually never was for me...just a bit of gaff tape solved that problem!). Plus, I do like that the Fong Dong allows you to spread light all over (including behind you, which is very nice when "foofing" your flash)...
