Hi,
Do you advertize on mywedding.com? Is it worth it? Do you get a lot of leads from them?
Thank you,

Give it some time, Alex. Someone will respond. It's only been a couple of hours since you first posted. Have patience.

I'm on MyMiamiWedding - and in 9 months, I think I've gotten one verifiable lead (though I'm at rather a disadvantage since I'm 1/2 day away).
But every site is different - and your results will vary depending on your area and pricing. Locally, unless you are very cheap, none of the national sites are any good. From my experience with lots of sites, I don't recommend any one that is more than $20 per month and maybe $2 or so for a lead. (WedPlan for example or WeDJ.) Decent clients aren't usually looking online - unless they are out of town, and even then they will be bargain shoppers - otherwise they'd go with a referral from a venue or planner.
Much better to spend your money printing up small sample albums for venues and planners.

I couldn't find you there. What kind of ad you have with them (they have 3) brochure?
I have seen some cool photogs there, like Kubota and Joe Buissink.

I have no experience with them, but I've seen them emerge as a high ranking search result, so they're gaining visibility. In my market I've seen some of the more high end folks advertise there, so it might not be a complete waste to try going with them. Better than theknot I'd imagine... But I know where you're coming from, my big challenge now is figuring out where to invest money to advertise and get quality hits. I do google adwords and that's getting more hits, but not really any results. I'd recommend checking with some folks in your area, if they're cool they'll be candid with you regarding any success or failure with that medium.

Sometimes it's a good idea to have an expensive ad somewhere just to show that you are at a certain level - but that doesn't mean you'll get any bookings from it. Colon says he used advertising to get the attention of planners - not clients.
The higher-end the client you want to target, the less effective your advertising will be. (Which sounds like something Yoda might write!)

I've been on mywedding.com for a few months, and I've received a few calls, but I've already been booked for the dates they called for. They do come up first on a google search for wedding and the city name. I receive much more business from the Knot.com.

Anyone on myphoenixwedding.com have anything to say about it? For you guys who advertise with the knot - is it any particular kind of profile on theknot.com you've got?
