Ok bloggers, I have a question. Does anyone know how to choose what posts appear on your main page? I see in the options theres a drop down for archiving, and it has daily, weekly, monthly. Does this mean for example that everything outside the past week of posting would be archives off the main page.

I currently have all posts on the main page of the PPS feed but I don't want them all on there. I went to option and selected archive monthly but it did not change anything. Is there a way to manually archive the posts I don't want on the main page?

Thanks blogger ninja's ph34r.gif ph34r.gif

Did you click the Republish button? (Which should have appeared after you changed the setting.)

I think it's a different setting from the archive setting. Should be for a certain number of posts on the main page. Haven't used blogger in awhile, but Wordpress lets you choose how many posts to display, or limit how many days past will show up. And, there are plugins to limit which categories appear on the main page, too.

Go to Settings, and then Formatting, where you can decide hoe many posts appear on the main page.

That's with the new Blogger, anyway - it doesn't actually "republish" anymore because it's dynamic with a database now instead of multiple static pages. If you have the old one, you'll need to republish.
