preface: all of your work rocks. big time. i check your blog all the time.
#1 is awesome, emotional, and i love the bokeh. Her hand positions are awesome. the overall color is soft and somewhat timeless.
LOVE the awesome tree+and angle in #2...i'm just not sure about her neck, there are some lines that distract me.
Like to see #3 warmer. I like it cool, but since there is red in the bg, it might also look awesome darker (maybe a little less exposed) and warmer. just an idea!
#4 is really "cute" - i love the natural moment, and the angles of the stairs/rails.
I love #5 beause it's soft and sweet. reminds me of film. love the angle. would like to see her not looking directly at the camera. but i'm sure you have a bazillion different shots/angles/poses that you took (like me).
i really like the darky blacks in the last one!
Thanks so much for the comment!! I am so excited to hear that you keep up with me!
#3 would be fun to play with. I will def. try to warm it up a bit and see how that works.
As for #5-- you're right...I have about 30 of these, and I do have on of her not looking.
Thanks again!

I agree - you are a wonderful photographer!
I think that these are too washed out for my taste, but I get the style and I dig that you're doing your own thing......I also think I'd like to see more "joy" on her face on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd one - she seems really sad.....and she's probably not in real life. Just my thoughts.
No, I don't think that one is too busy, but I'd like to see her doing something more interesting there. She just may not have been totally comfortable in front of the camera.
Also, I think your composition is really interesting, unique, and beautiful - well done!

I can understand not liking the washed out. It's something that I have loved lately and am trying to make better. This senior was probably one of the most insecure seniors that I've shot before. It was so hard to get what I did out of her as far as "true emotions go." I've learned that the first 20 minutes of the photoshoot really don't matter....that's just the "warm up to the photographer" period!
Thanks for your thoughts!
