Much appreciated

How about a Domke F-2? I think you can get them in black -- maybe leather, even.

It seems a bit outdoorsy to me, I'm looking for something a tad more classic looking.. I know there has to be something out there, but having 000000 luck finding

A little too metrosexual for me (despite my previous avatar).

Domkes come in Ballistic Nylon, very classy. My old black canvas one look so bad that noone would steal it!

What is up with Crumpler's website? It's ridiculous - and not in a good way.

I've been wanting this crumpler bag for awhile:

I need something over the shoulder that's not as obtrusive as my Tenba backpack. I also have a Tumi messenger bag that I LOVE, but that's more for day-to-day man-pursing.
jkantor
What is with all these narrow deep bags? I need something where I can get to everything quickly - and with a flap top, not a zipped one for the same reason.

I ended up getting this guy in black.

ericvon
who makes that one? very nice

It seems to be this one: http://www.luggageonline.com/product.cfm?product_ID=3357

But it's a duffel.

Here's my $20 Old Navy with two Domke inserts (4 lenses, 3 flash, and a body):

I need a really good backpack that can hold 2 bodies, 5-6 lenses, flash, accessories and a 17" laptop. Roller backpack a plus.

Oh but wait...here's the kicker....needs to work for a 5'2" female!!! LOL Go ahead, laugh in my face now....

These are about as swanky as you can get.

$500 for a camera bag? I'm going to hire a couple of illegal immigrants and go into business.

The thing I don't like about almost all of these is that they are really designed for transporting and not shooting. If I need to transport my equipment, I'll use a backpack or a Pelican case.
KAWTER
I'm really excited.. I almost pulled the trigger on a $350 Tumi
pictured herehttp://www.simplecase.net/images/44959_xlrg.jpg

and the one I ended up getting (pictured in my post above) was $61 out the door incl shipping (after my sleuth work found a 10% off + free shipping coupon)

I'll let you know what I think when it arrives

You just wait--this industry is missing a bag that's perfect for wearing while you shoot, but IT IS COMING, Vegas baby!

Jess, are you still making us wait until Vegas?!?! Just curious because I've got my hubby on a happy spending spree. I must have done something really nice for him recently. But he just bought my new travel bag and I'm in desperate need for a bag to have on me when shooting wink.gif

I know, it's gotta wait till Vegas though (or closer to it). It's coming though smile.gif

Oooh I think I want a Jess bag -- especially if it's anything like the one you used on SimplePhotoMinute!
