Full Version: Photo Montage for Clients
OpenSourcePhoto > Digital Photography > Misc. Photo Question

I have a couple clients that want photo montages at their wedding of pictures of them growing up. I know how to scan them and what not, but I wasn't sure how you all do yours and give the clients copies.

I did one a couple years ago for my sister's wedding and made it through iphoto but it just stayed on my computer and I didn't have to burn it or do anything else with it.

How do you guys make these, what programs do you use, how do you give them to the clients, etc.

Any advice would be great, I am going to start scanning the photos later today and then I wasn't sure what the best way to continue was.
Also if they want music how to you incorporate that as well?

I bought a dvd burner but at the moment I can't figure out how to connect it correctly to my computer. That's another whole thread in itself and hopefully I will figure that out tonight as well. because I am assuming I need the burner to make this slideshow.

Thanks.

You can do it in iPhoto again, then export it (share) to iDVD. With an external DVD burner, you have to burn it a little differently. If you get that far, I'll point you in the right direction on how to do that.

Okay I got my external dvd burner hooked up and I was able to export into idvd, now I am not quite sure how to properly burn the disc and keep all the info and music that I put together in iphoto and idvd.

Any help would be great.
