I read a great book in college called "Civility" by Stephen L. Carter and it had so many great quotes in it but this one always stuck with me, probably because I see how easy it is for me to get in the mindset of thinking "my way is the right way" and how that restricts so many opportunities in my life.
"Civility requires that we listen to others with knowledge of the possibility that they are right and we are wrong."
