This is definitely a random photo question.

Are there any photographers on the forum who are from Idaho or know anything about Idaho. (such as is it a place that you would want to have a wedding photography business.)

If you have any info post it or e-mail me, I would greatly appreciate it.

I think you risk a lot of resentment if you make a lifestyle decision like that with expectations on how your business will adapt. My advice is to go where you'll be happiest, apart from your business, and then make your business work there!

However, life throws unexpected twists and turns.

I don't know anything about Idaho, but I can tell you that I have definitely had to adapt my business around here in Colorado (i.e. I live in a very small town and not much business is thrown my way yet since I moved here)... I somehow wish I would have stayed in California, where business was at least a little more stable for me (and I knew many more people).

But in the last two days I may have a wedding in May (wow that's coming up quick!!!) for a couple that their photographer backed out last minute. And I was having breakfast at a local cafe this morning and my waitress said that she was looking for someone to do photos of her!!!

So I may be getting my camera soon!
