Today we had a really fun engagement session. We brought the new Tokina 10-17mm (thanks for the recommendation Brady) and got some cool shots. We were at Haggan-Daaz and I made them get a double scoop with sprinkles...yummm. The ice cream cost $7, for one cone!

Also, do these look good on your monitor? We just calibrated ours last night with pictage (with the calibration print they send you).

They are hard to see because they are so small, 600x800ish @ 72dpi should help.. The cone one looks cute. $7 scoop? It must be very good!

$7.00 for a cone?! That is ridiculous. My favorite place is right here on the lake (Ontario). I pay $1.18 for a large soft-serve black raspberry ice cream cone with extra rainbow sprinkles. So good.

I want ice cream so bad right now, ha. Yummmmmmm! smile.gif

The images look pretty good on my PC monitor (didn't check my Mac). So what are your impressions of the lens? Are you pleased?

We really like it! We debated between the Nikon fixed 10.5 and this one, but I really like having a little bit of zoom & it has the full 180 field of vision. $500 well spent. I need to take some landscapes to show off what it can do....never enough time...
