i got the following email, and can't take it because i'll be out of the country...and at the point in my journey i'd prefer not to take a 2-hour wedding. it's not that i'm too good for it, it's just not going to propel me upward.
however, if you've been thinking about getting into weddings & have a good eye for photography, this may be a good way to get started. i don't know what her budget is, but sounds like a probable low-budget. pm me if you'd like me to forward your info!
her email:
Hi Jillian!
My fiance and I are getting married in a small, private, casual marriage registration ceremony at the Santa Clara County Clerk's Office.[.. ]on March 9, 2007 (Fri) at 11.30 am. Max 15 guests. We are looking at a 1.5 to 2 hour photo session before/ during/ after the ceremony. [groom] and I are keeping this whole affair low key. Would you be available then and how much would you quote for the session?
Thank you very much, Jillian. Appreciate your time.
Regards
[bride]
