I'm Kelsie Pinkerton - I have recently (within the last year) started a portrait and wedding photography business here in Phoenix Arizona after deciding that I really loved photography and was tired of working for other people. I had very little formal training - just have always been obsessive about documenting life and had been told on many occasions that I had an eye for it. As I started to study and finally got some of the equipment needed I was (and still am) sooo fortunate to get to work with Kevin King as an assistant and now second shooter here in Phoenix on many weddings. I have done a few weddings of my own and lots of portraits, and am still feeling like this is really what I want to do.
I JUST got my new site up (http://www.pinkertonphoto.com), and will likely be spending some time in the marketing blog trying to brainstorm about how to get myself out there. Any tips from you all are welcome
