Full Version: Business card Redesign
OpenSourcePhoto > The Business Side > Marketing
NH Jeff
Okay,

So here are a few different designs I came up with, with Laurens help for a business card redesign. I'm thinking of redoing my logo from the big NEJ as well perhaps, with the comments I got last time.

#1 The original colors, but they don't match my site colors ( www.nejphoto.com )

#2 - More of a brown tone

#3 - Purple with a senior's image

#4 Brown with face (Thanks Mark) :-)

#5 Brown, yet no swirly

Any suggestions, constructive comments, improvements etc... huh.gif

Are appreciated

Thanks

Jeff,
I really like how you used the color from your website in the second card.
The text stands out nicely and I think it is so important to bring the whole "look" of your business together thru use of color and fonts.
That gets my vote!!!

Nice!

Jeff, what does the NEJ stand for?

I like 2 and 3. Have you tried a combo of 2 and 3 with those colors and that face?

We were New England Journeys Photography, but I thought that was a mouthfull, so it was shortened to NEJ.

It means "no" in Swedish so it makes me laugh! laughing.gif

I like the 5th one, the face with no swirly. BUT I think that the text shouldnt cross her face. Other than that, it looks good. And I think that the new england journeys sounds nice and the use of nejphoto for your website still makes sense.

LOVE number two! I would slightly decrease the visibility of the swirly so that the text is more clear... but I'm just being nitpicky. Definitely brown over blue biggrin.gif FABU!

As you wish. 51.gif

I'm guessing you don't like the green eyes. Actually its just a change in saturation and a tiny tiny hue change. She really does have green eyes.

Otherwise did you like the image or no image? What else could I do to improve?

I think the 2nd one is great

Was hoping for a few more comments before I Finanlize things?

#2 seems to be my choice with the swirl lightened a bit.

What about the image on the card? I was thinking of making up a test set of 50 or so, but just wondering if its something folks think might work also.

I'd move the text off her face on that one.

Thanks for the comments and suggestions so far.

Hey Jeff...which one did you decide on? I like #'s 3 and 4 the best.

#2 was my final one. But I changed the colors slightly.

Cool...where did you get them printed? I've been very happy with my last two sets of cards from WHCC. Here is my latest card.

I like #2 the best, it somehow seems more upscale

I did WHCC, but I did the rep cards, with the water color and pearl finish. They are lik,ke $11 for 50, so I did some to test.

I did a bunch at 4by6.com, but they scewed up the satin finish so, I need them redone.
