Last year I shot a video about 4 women that had either experienced a miscarriage or had an abortion(s). The video was to let other women know about a memorial garden in Naples where women and families can go to grieve and memorialize their lost babies.
The whole thing was very last minute and I found out we were shooting the night before. The women that were in the video were all from out of town and because of circumstances I couldn't control I had only 2 hours to shoot the whole thing before the sun set. Needless to say I wasn't thrilled with the results.
Anyway, I get an email and then a call this weekend saying that not only did they want to order 300 more copies of the video but that 100 of them would be handed out at a United Nations conference. God is so amazing. Here I am bummed out that the lighting stunk and that the women were wearing shoulder pads and double breasted dresses and totally missing the point.... the story and what God had done in these women's lives to help them receive healing and tell the truth about their experiences with abortion. It is so nice to know that God is in control and not me. Please pray that the story these women have would reach the right hands and touch their hearts. -Ashley
