I'm curious as to how everyone creates their thumbnail images during your workflow. After I copy my CF card contents to my laptop or desktop, I do a rough edit using PhotoMechanic and delete anything not worth keeping. But that still leaves me with a folder of numbered files with the generic JPEG icon. It's usually not until I begin adjusting and saving files that the actual thumbnail image appears, replacing the JPEG icon.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.

In case you haven't tried this, go to views, and select thumbnails instead of icons.

If you are working on a mac, sometimes you need to actually save the images before you can view the thumbs.

Hey Greg & Tim,
Yeah, I'm on a Mac. But thanks to your replies, I just discovered hidden in the folder View menu, and buried within the View Options, a checkbox to "Show Icon Preview". That does it! Thanks again.

Christopher - Thank you for asking that question. I always just assumed I couldn't view the thumbnails.
Greg & Tim - Thanks for the fix. You guys rock!
