Hello Everyone!

After months of hearing about OSP and meeting dozens of people who post I am finally joining everyone!

My name is Jennifer Driscoll, those close to me call me Jenny. I live in Indiana with my husband and three daughters (13, 9, 7). I am a photographer (duh, but just in case thought I'd throw that out there). My business is very diversified at the moment, but I shoot mostly weddings and children. Well, those are my boring facts.


I recently attended the PPA imaging conference in TX. It was a chilling adventure! The highlight of the trip was networking with many people from OSP, but most of all Claire Kayser.

Claire and I have been friends for over 4 years. In those four years we have witnessed our passion for photography and art birth successful studios. It is really neat to see how far we have both come from those early days of posting on forums and daily e-mails. The reason this trip to TX was so special is that in the 4 years Claire and I have known each other we never did meet in person. Yep! Claire's family was happy to hear that Jenny isn't a man, LOL. After years of chatting about potty training, digital cameras and loads of girl talk it was good to finally meet! I am sure many of you know Claire has a twin, Carole, who is also a blast.

So, in TX it was the girls! Carole, Claire and Carla shared a room with me and from the start the trip proved to be a great adventure. After getting settled we spent time "Jay-Walking" as we looked all over for David Jay, whom we found at the pictage booth. The next several days were spent "Jay-Swan" walking. Kevin Swan was rooming with D.J. and he is also great fun! You have probably seen posts from both Kevin and DJ about the fun in TX. It was so valuable for me to meet other photographers in my area and exciting to network with those from far away lands.


I have to admit, this "Love Cat" concept is not one widely shared in my immediate town so finding other photographers who recognize there is enough business out there for everyone and life is soooooo much more fun when we enjoy what we do with those who understand the trade was/is so great!

What a sa-WEET opening message!!! You are a blast, and it was so fun finally meeting you in person after all these years. Imageing USA was fun and informative, and we had lots of fun despite the weather.
