So yeah, I just have to publically say--you were so right about that studio guy. Wowsers. He talked great at first, but all the trouble started when we asked for a contract before providing the deposit.
let's just say... that didn't go over so well...All of a sudden, he starts retracting these things he's agreed to verbally...
Now I have two crazy desperate emails in my in-box, and he doesn't know it yet, but we're totally walking.
I just am so thankful though, because yesterday we were ready to roll with it. And then last night we just prayed again that if this was or was not the way God wanted us to move, he would make that clear. I checked my email right after that--and there was the first big red flag. At that point it was like "ok we may have our answer"
and it just went downhill from there...I'm so thankful we're not out our deposit, and that we're not locked into a lease with this guy (even if it is only 6 months...) so very very thankful.
Anyway, I have to go to work--working late today so I probably won't be able to be back on till tonight.
Just wanted to say "thanks for the warning" we totally see what you saw now... but man did the guy put it on thick at our initial meetings...
I guess it's back to the drawing board for the studio now
