I adore my bookkeeper. I mail her my reciepts (incoming & outgoing) once a month, she keeps track of everything for me, does my quarterly taxes, and has everything ready for my CPA to file my income taxes at the end of the year. I keep trying to convince her that she should set up a special program for photographers where there's a reasonable setup fee ($150-ish) and a small monthly fee ($25 or so depending on the # of employees a person has) and keep their books for them.

I know that this is one of the things I HATE doing and I'm NOT good at so I prefer to outsource it to someone who IS good at it. She loves the idea but is convinced that there wouldn't be any interest in it. So... I thought I'd try to prove her wrong. Would you be interested in a service like that?

Man, if you can convince her to do it that cheap I would jump on that. I do some bookkeeping for a few clients and I charge way more than that. Of course, this is LA.....land of the expensive everything.

She's in the process of moving right now. If you need something immediately I'd go with Lori - she posted the other day offering her services. Otherwise I should know something by mid-March when she settles in to her new house!
