That's funny because I just wrote an email to a girlfriend and told HER my feet are cold. Socks are good but do I have any clean ones around here [looking]?

lol! My feet are always cold! Our house was built in the 50's, so the insulation is pretty bad. Lately, I've been having my dog sleep under my desk so I can put my feet on him (: Doggie heating pad!

In the Siera Club they emphasize keeping your core warm, which will warm up your extremities.

My heart just turned cold, too.

I wear boot socks all winter long. Ask anyone in the SLC PUG, my socks are ugly, but they keep me from staying in bed from November to March. Sacrifice fashion and self-esteem for transportation and proper body temperature. I also got these cool hunting man boot socs at Sam's Club. Man, talk about toasty!

Plus socks don't show in all those underwear avatar photo shoots! You will love them! Big and thick and over the calf!

my feet and hands are always freezing - even in the summer! I just bought a pair of UGGS boots and Acorn slippers - SOOOOO warm. The Acorns are some of the ugliest things I have ever worn, but they are super comfy & warm - they also have rubber soles so you don't slip and fall on your butt! I also wear "socks to stay home in" from JC Penney's... they are very warm and comfy!

I have a heater literally right at my feet under my desk. I'd highly reccommend it! (I'd take a picture and show you, but in light of my new goal to be more productive....I'm gonna have to ask you to use your imagination. )

my poor feet are always frozen. you know what's fun? when the boyfriend is sound asleep on the couch and i put my freezing feet on his and wake him up. he hates it i have to have fun somehow!

I hate socks too...give me your shoe size and ill make sure to get you some "slippas" aka flip flops from hawaii the next time I go...I love these things, and they cost a mere "2 buck chuck"

Ive actually shot a wedding in flip flops...the mexico/hawaii weddings are always fun to cover sporting no socks.. (btw, memo to jose v...your missing out on st.-patty's day in puerto v. if you see this post.)


Now napa is a different story....they won't let you in the front gate lookin like fred flinstone.

So, yeah, I hate socks...I agree. I never wear socks and sleep with my feet exposed (its easy to do because im a mere 6'4'') because some wise person once said that our feet act like a barometer and somehow regulate our body temp like our noggins do...so the long of the short of it all is..You want your feet to be cold..they help regulate your body temp. if its 20 degrees outside and your feet are warm...you might be ailing or close to it.

weird - i love socks. in fact... some would say i have a sock addiction, i have 2 drawers packed FULL of them and try to buy a new package whenever i'm at walmart. if i take off a pair of socks, i can't put them back on, so i usually go through at least 2 pair/day.

SOCKS RULE!!!

but... then again, I do have my Rainbow Sandals that are BY FAR the best made sandals out there!
