I submitted a ticket to help for this but I need this fixed asap! I downloaded the Beta 2.5 but went back to using 2.0 (not sure I like 2.5 yet). It seems now my 2.0 has two new bugs. The most important is any new slideshow I create and upload to the Internet can not be viewed online! I had others try viewing from other computers/locations and they all get the "need FlashPlayer and Java" message, yet we all have it. I created it like any other slideshow and have never had this problem. Here's the link: http://www.dolphindancephotography.com/Ali...ndyWeddingBook/ Please, any assistance will be much appreciated! This is for a client's wedding book and we are in the middle of revisions!

Also, less important, it seems when I do a fit to song the first image may be copied twice. It happened in 2.5 and that's one reason I went back to 2.0 but it's now happening in 2.0.

Hmm, I see the 'Get Flash Player' message on Windows XP and Firefox. Have you uninstalled 2.0 before installing 2.5 Beta. And when going back, uninstalled 2.5 Beta then re-install 2.0?

No to either. So, I have to uninstall 2.5? I thought since it being a Beta the idea is to try it out and not be inconvenienced by having to install/unstall/install/uninstall...etc. Like the same as having Photoshop 7.0 plus CS2 both on my computer and both usable.

Doesn't hurt to uninstall 2.0 and install 2.5 Beta. I think because they're the same program that some system files might have been overwritten or conflicting with one another. Like for example with Lightroom, everyone had to uninstall the previous version whenever there was an updated one.

Does the show play on your local computer OK ?

If so, then it is most likely the way your uploading the files.

Make sure your set to Auto for your transfer method ...

How are you uploading your show? What application.

Cheers,

Dave

Also make 100% that your uploading the entire directory AND sub folders of your show to the sub directory of your slideshows folder on your server.

Sure sounds like your missing files to me.

Take care,

Dave

I just checked how it plays when I click "Save and Preview Show" and guess what, it doesn't work! I get the same error message. So it's not in the upload, it's the program.

If I just totally delete both programs from my computer will I be able to download again without being charged?
Chris Uglanica
Yes, you can.

Yes, you can.

So, I just removed both from my computer and re-downloaded 2.0 and now it's working. Obviously the bug was in having both on my computer? I hope that won't happen once version 2.5 is a full upgrade. Beware to others to not go back and forth between 2.0 and Beta 2.5. blink.gif

Thanks for everyone's assistance!

I have both loaded on my PC here, and have no issues. I have V1.0 as well, so the problem is not necessarily in having both versions loaded.

Glad to hear that you have it all figured out though. smile.gif

Thanks for the update on that it works after a deinstall and reload.

I have both loaded as well (2.0 and 2.5 beta) and works as designed.

The trick I did is with 2.5 beta it wants to install in the same directory as 2.0 , I just updated the directory to a different name when it came around to that in the install process.

Take care,
