ohhhhhhhh, ok. so i'm not late, i just so happened to pop onto amazon the day it was releaseed. i'd wondered why i hadn't heard any news! i was listening to french lesson tapes in the car on the way to work.

LOL!!! I'm pretty excited about it too -- I tried to reserve a copy the other day when I was at the book store and they didn't even have the little "I reserved my copy" vouchers ready yet.

You *know* Harry can't die, because else nobody'd have the heart to finish making the film series -- and I think there would be a fair number of extremely distraught fans around the world.

I am so excited about this! My 13 year old daughter and I have been reading every Harry Potter since book 1 and look forward to each movie as well. How long has it been? About six years now? Neat how the books have progressed and grown with the generation. Annie is still interested in the books because the kids "grew with her".

Harry Potter is to her what Nancy Drew was to me:)

I JUST started reading the series Sat. night. I'm almost through with book #2, but my girlfriend tells me that after book #3 they start to get more substantial, and more AWESOME!

I spent a shameful half hour on mugglenet.com, and I'm afraid I'm hooked!!

haha - I really wanted to go to the book release and see all the kids in their cute costumes (and also pick up my book, and stay up all night chewing my nails while reading it!) but of course we have a wedding that day! ARGH!

I even have a gryffindor scarf! Maybe I'll wear it to the wedding??!
