A few of you may have already seen this ---> and I have been meaning to update it, but you know how that goes.

Since I am a bit new 'round these parts I thought I'd share this slideshow about "Who I Am" as an artist.
This is a slideshow about me, as a photographer. As a person. I didn't choose my "best" images to tell my story, but chose the images I am closest too. All images of children - many my son. And all the words are my own.
Oh, those w/ MAC can't view this I believe .... and it's a big slideshow so dialuppers beware.

...And I've heard from a few people the text slides can get funky too sometimes.
The music ...is available for license by Shaun Paul - my clients go NUTS over this music (I don't use this particular song, it's a bit too somber, but I do use a few others)! Well worth the price. The website is at the end of the slideshow - email him from there for pricing and what not.
Please tell him Skye sent ya!

Wow,
Skye that was beautiful and soul stirring, you have grown so much since I first saw your work on ILP a few years ago but it was obvious you had enormous talent even then!!!
I cant wait to see more of your work on OSP.

Nice pictures, but exes are not a good way to distribute slideshows. For one it leaves out Mac people - but the most important reason is that people should never run exes unless they absolutely trust the source. We don't know that the machine you created this on isn't infected. And it would be easy for someone to just rename a trojan to "whoiam.exe" and distribute it.
And actually - even if it's fine when you send it out, it can get infected on someone else's machine, and if they e-mail it, you'll end up with the blame anyway.
I'd really look at something like ProShow Gold. Hi-res - even full-screen - slideshows.

Wow I am so impressed!! Beautiful work with putting images, text and music to weave together seamlessly. All the images and fantastic, but I've gotta say that one with the little girl in the white dress (where you talk about light) is adorable!! Awww!! So cute!!

O.K. ....this made me cry....but in the best possible way! It seems now I'm a Mum my emotions run so very deeply, theres' just no turning back....no way to 'turn them down'. I guess I wouldn't want to anyway. It's weird though, that truly beautiful things just make me weep!
Beautiful Skye, just beautiful. I especially loved your line about an image leaving you 'breathless'...and wanting that same feeling again and again. You might have warned all especially 'soppy' OSP members that viewing would require a PC, AND a box of tissues!

Now of course I am totally disappointed to be on a mac and not be able to watch the slideshow. So I went to your web sites instead, and WOW!!!! It actually make me want to drag out my old pc from the depths of the closet to see the show, and I may just do that at some point later today. Awesome work, definately bookmarked, and the music on your web site in INCREDIBLE!! I LOVE it, and am definately going to google Shaun Paul.
I'm also a musician and have been recording my own music for slideshows, but once I become busy this will totally not be possible all the time. And I love the music I'm hearing on your site, so I have to get all of Shaun's music! I love this type of music, especially for working to, and just great morning music.
So thanks for the inspiration and the turn on to Shaun Paul!
Cheers,
Shawn
PS
Here's a link to my slideshow (MY first) if anyone would like to check it out. Like Skye, mine is kind of a personal artist statement, lots of personal work and my music.
Cheers,

Well I dug into my closet and dragged out my old PC, and I am speechless Skye. Bruce couldn't have said it any better, poetic brilliance.
Wow Skye. Your light shines very brightly.
Wish you lived in CA.
Thanks for the inspiration,
Shawn
