sorry no photos yet, I do have a question though. have any of you ever shot an engagement shoot on rodeo drive? if so, pro & cons also did security bother you. permit needed? anything i should know before i go down there and get myself thrown out? camera.gif ill post photos from shoot after shoot. Thanks for any advice in advance.

Yes! Security guys WILL bother you but if you stay away from Via Rodeo you should be fine.
Tell them you are tourists and don't take any assistants with you, throw some Spanish words their way and they'll leave you alone.

Show the photos when you have them!
I was scouting some locations there yesterday.

nah Just showed up early before shops opened. a couple of the cafe's had people cleaning up getting ready to open. but no one really bothered us.

I've seen a bunch of his images from Rodeo Drive, and nobody ever seems to hassle him.

its probably who he is. we showed up early like 7:30 am before anyone one was around and no problems. the security guy showed up about 9:15 or so and it was sat. shops don't open til 10:00am on weekends.

Just because he has photos, doesn't mean he didn't get hassled.

I've gotten asked to leave an outdoor mall and a high end resort in Arizona in the last couple of months, but still got some great shots.
