Hello all. I had joined here back in August but due to a move a few months later in October I had dropped off the radar for a while. So, here we are in January and I'm trying to get back into the swing of things. I have a new home in a new city, a new web site and a new outlook on my photogrpahy. I'm hoping to hit the ground running here!

Here's a few shots that I took this past weekend of a dear freind of mine and her new baby. This was definitely the highlight of my weekend. Enjoy, C&C is always welcome and I can't wait to get to start knowing you all better...again! rolleyes.gif

Thank you guys! I drove out of town to shoot a wedding one day and then this baby the next. You are right, I was in a studio...it just wasn't mine.

My fellow photographer friend has a much smaller studio than I do so I was really worried about the set up. The back drops are both hers, but I insisted on brining my own lights. For these shoots I used my tiny 20x30 soft box and a 45" silver lined umbrella. Personaly, after looking back at these pics, I wish I had my hair light, but there was just no room for one in my friends studio...(did I menton that it was a smaller room!)

Overall I am very please with what I got...now I get to wait and see what mommy thinks! Thanks again guys! I look forward to getting to know you all (and visa-versa) much better!

As a father with a daughter not too much older (mine is now 10 mo) I fully appreciate and find your pictures beautiful. My daughter is one reason I have taken the plunge into photography...and not just for fun either. I look forward to learning from you...can't say I have much to bring...yet.
