This is from Wednesday night - such fun, a couple of friends willing to kick about with me for some images and while I practised using 2 lights (1 slaved, 1 on ebay triggers - both off camera)

haha sorry . . . . .
I loved number three actually - it was a catch while he was explaining some techinical thing to me and she was just looking at the view - but it seems like it has it's own little story in it (that has NO relation to what was really happening).
Oh - and it's the first real time I've had the subject 'pop' off the screen like that - there is no processing involved there.
I have never heard of Loretta Lux *off to google*.

Ok, is this your backyard or something? Jeez!!!! The location is hawt.
I really like #1 and #2 but maybe without so heavy of a vignette.

lol - thanks Zack, this one's not quite my backyard, just 30 min down the road though.
I'm getting happier with my one light shots, my 2 light shots however are at present, all over the shop - it doesn't help that my ebay triggers are just damn unreliable. Although, getting paid for these is building up my "Pocketwizard fund bucket" takings.

First.... Rock that single light until you know it back and forth. THEN get another light into the equation.
Second - Those ebay remotes are garbage. I wish David wouldn't push those things. He'ld do better to tell people to rob liquor stores for Pocket Wizard money. Ok, maybe that isn't the best suggestion.

yeah - thanks man - walk first . . . . jeez - I'm still crawling
agreed - although they are cheap and accesible, they are just that - 'junk', I don't regret having them, because I'm only starting out, and they get me this first step on the way, but damn - they are so frustrating when you need them to go - missed shots due to firing inconsistancies is killing me!
