I figured I should join the photo cult (ha, ha). It was wonderful meeting so many new people this year at WPPI. I must say that there is a great vibe to the Cali photographers that I met. I look forward to future opportunites to learn, share and dance with everyone!

My name is Katie Van Buren and my company name is Van Buren Photography. I have a studio in Denver, CO and have been in the wedding industry for over 7 years. I know it is a scary thought considering I am only 25, but I did start shooting weddings when I was 18. My website is www.vanburenphotography.com Check it out if you get the chance. I used to shoot all med format with Hasselblad equipment, but as the times have changed I have become 100% digital with Canon equipment. I am digital and lovin' it!

Greg- That would be great if you would like to come by my studio. Just a FYI we do a lot of off site pics so we are by appointment only. Typically we are here M-F from 10-4, but you never know what shoots we might have going on. Just give me a call if you are in this part of town. Studio # is 720-489-1172.

Everyone was curious about winter weddings in CO. Yes, we have some, but not that many. Unless it is actually snowing everything gets somewhat brown around here in the winter. My favorite winter wedding was when it was 19 degrees outside and snowing like crazy. The bride and groom were super cool and wanted to do a lot of pics in the snow. Now, that was fun!
