Erin, HONEY, that was AWESOME.
But -- like -- thanks, because I'm at work right now and trying to hide behind my monitor so nobody will see me crying.
I love the whole thing, but the shot of the mom and dad just after the birth is absolutely perfect. Oh, and is that older girl the new baby's sister? How adorable!
I would love to do sessions like this. How much do you charge a regular client? Are you on call for an expected delivery time? How long do you stay? Wow, I'm so inspired! Love it.

Thank you so much, I'm so glad that you loved it and are so inspired! And, I'm sorry but I was going for the crying thing.
To answer your questions, I don't really know what I would charge. I didn't charge them for this for two reasons, one because I've wanted to shoot a birth ever since I began doing children's photography and two because they are going to shoot mine (I'm due in June). I was pretty much on call for a couple days but it didn't bother me because I cleared my calendar for the week and I live close to the hospital. I stayed probably a total of 5 or 6 hours, but I'd think it would be a personal preference how long you'd stay before and after the actual birth.
