My wife and I found out in early December that she was pregnant with our second baby. On Fridaywe went to our monthly doctor appointment and they couldn't find a heart beat. So they do an ultra sound and don't see any movement, either. They told us that we had a miscariage and we need to come back on Monday to make a dicision on how to proceed. They say they'll do one more ultra sound to be absolutely sure at that time. If you could spare 30 seconds to say a quick prayer for us, we'd really appriciate it.
I'll give an update soon.
Thanks a ton!

I am SO sorry you have to go through this.
I had a miscarriage at 14 weeks when our son was 2 yrs old. At 10 weeks, we saw a heartbeat & lots of movement, then at 14 weeks, no heartbeat, no movement, only 12-week development. I had to have a C&D. It was painful, miserable, and I am SO SAD for you & your wife right now.
The main things that got me through were prayers from freinds & family and the beautiful sight of our son. He kept us sane, and kept me from slipping into depression.
Years after, I went into an O.R. to have my c-section for Rory's birth, and I was in an OR just like the room where they did the D&C. I hadn't thought about it since, but the sight of the room, the view of the ceiling, the lights, the doctors & nurses milling around, even that medical/OR smell, I then & there understood & experienced post-traumatic stress disorder. My heart started racing, I couldn't breathe, I started crying uncontrollably. I wished someone had prepared me, but I don't know if anyone could have even seen that coming. I couldn't enjoy Rory's birth, and I needed pretty strong sedation to get through. I just hope that maybe that story will help someone be more prepared and not have to go through that.
I will be praying for your whole family through this time. I'm SO sorry you have to go through this!
