I have a 10 month old daughter and don't always have that great of light (no real south facing windows)...I am WAY impressed with how you were able to capture so much light, considering little ones DO NOT stay still very long (ie no low shutter speed).
What lens did you use?
I have yet to introduce myself to OSP, but I am quite interested in kids photography (1 daughter, 1 nephew, and 1 godson within 9 months of each other)...as I want to be able to capture that "awe-inspiring" photograph.
This one is at 1/60, 3.2, and +1/3 EC, ISO100...it was taken within days of getting the camera (XTi)...under similar lighting I would ramp it up to at least ISO 400 and may bump the EC another 1/3 and then drop the apeture to 4. Also, there is no PP...
I am inspired by your work...

second, what a beeeautiful baby!
the lens i used for this was a 50mm 1.8 but I shot at 2.8. i'm honestly surprised it actually worked because reagan is very very wiggle-ly.

it was really tough. i'm not going to lie, there were definitely a lot out of focus because she was moving around so much.
best of luck with everything! i'm looking forward to seeing more of your work on osp!
