Hey guys!!!

I just had the most random request the other day. This lady that I've worked with before on a project called wondering if I would like to be one of a couple photographers to be in consideration to do the stills for a movie! I got back to her that yes I was interested. But I have no clue what one of these type of shoots pay! I asked her around what the rate was and she said she would have to get back to me about a ballpark but it's something that they negotiate with the photographer...so I have NO clue where to start!! blink.gif I don't think it's a super huge budget film but I know that one of the producers is a pretty big producer out in Hollywood. What do you all recommend? They need me, I guess, for about 19 days of shooting...
I have no clue what I'm getting myself into so any advice would be appreciated too!!
Thanks guys!!! w00t.gif

Whenever I contemplate what to charge for a job that's "out of the norm", I always think about the amount of work involved, the time involved, and most importantly, what I feel I'm worth. Think about an amount you'd be content with if they offered it to you. Then, add about 50% and go for it. wink.gif

How's that for an uneducated answer!

Also, do you have a blimp for your camera yet? I've always wondered what it was really like shooting with one of those.

Congrats, and I hope you score the gig!
