Here are some photos from a series I did of the girls who live on my floor at school using the 4x5. After about $200 worth of film, I finally got a few that didn't turn out blank... clap.gif

CC: welcome, and appreciated.

There's some more on my blog. http://www.shannonleith.blogspot.com/

Anyone else have large format images to share?
has anyone taken one to a wedding??? now THAT would be fun.

I need a scanner. I have a ton of 4x5 chromes from my Brooks days, but none on the puter.

Nice camera movements in number 2.

I love the muted color such a great old school feeling... get it they are at a school? hehe oh man i'm officially lame.

Also I was checking out your blog and really dig the shots from Africa, they are so down to earth and real.

These are very cool. I really like the effect of the color.

I love these! Very vintage-y, the film is neat to see.

These are old. You didn't say there had to be people in them. smile.gif

(oops!, just saw this is in the portrait category. ignore me - shouldn't be hard)

Ok!

Haven't shot with it in a long while - need to dust it off. The Christmas tree one was the most recent, 2 years ago, maybe 3...? Dunno.

Those are awesome! The 3rd one is my favorite, because I can just imagine people eating a quiet breakfast in there at 7am or something. You captured the light in the environment really well.

Thanks for posting those!

Thanks. That third one is in the peak of the building in that 2nd pic. Pretty nice place, one of those really exclusive executive clubs.

ah, i haven't pulled out the ol' 4x5 view camera for a while, but i used to shoot directly to photographic paper with it, which was fun! if i end up getting that thing out sometime, i'll certainly post the pics here!
