Do you bring light reflectors with you to weddings? If so, what size and colors? Photographic examples are greatly appreciated. smile.gif

I have one, I forget what brand, but its a circular 55" white on one side, white gold on the other. The white gold is really pretty, but its so harsh on the eyes if using direct sun, which you really need to.

The plain white side is good for adding a little light in, but you have to have an assistant that knows hot to use one. Almost all place it too low IMO

Thank you! smile.gif

I always bring my reflectors, but rarely use them. Only when I'm in a tough lighting spot like extreme backlight scenes and I don't want to flash. I have a round 42" gold/white reflector for that. I also have a round translucent diffuser, but that has even fewer uses for weddings...good for portrait sessions under harsh lighting, though.

Never hurts to have it in the car.

I bring a photogenic 3ft x 6ft panel. It has silver, gold, sunlight and diffusion materials. Its always in the truck.

Yes, I bring one. Its one of those things that you rarely need ... unless, of course, you forget to bring it ...

So true. I honestly don't remember the last time I used it at a wedding (I've got a large '5-in-1' circular one). I hate using it because someone has to hold it and nobody knows *exactly* where I want the light - even after I show them. So I always have it in my car and therefore there's never a need for it. wink.gif
